API integration with DVLA, Carweb and Engines Worldwide

Abbey Scrap Cars provides an instant price for cars based on the registration number and owner's postcode for collection.

Customers enter their details to get an instant price, then orders are handled by staff with our bespoke management system. The car registration is submitted via API to Carweb to get details of the vehicle, including weight and engine size. Abbey maintain custom pricing factors based on postcode, gross weight and other factors to control the offered price. Finally, when the order is processed and the car collected, we connect via API to the DVLA official database to generate a Certificate of Destruction.
