We are very proud to work with Woodlands Vets, especially as Bluelinemedia dogs Max and Sam were already customers! We were also aware that most vet websites are rather basic and rarely updated, so were pleased to be able to make a change.

Practice Manager Pip wanted a website that reflected the real vets: passionate for animals, great customer relationships and a genuine dedication to pets. The main goal was to communicate better with clients and make the most of social media.

We provided a friendly and unique new design that stands out from the crowd and includes some of the new photography provided by Nick Daly. It's a warm first impression that reflects the friendly atmosphere of the clinic itself.

The website includes a blog and an events list so Woodlands can keep customers up to date, and automatically posts updates to Twitter and Facebook. All of this is maintained by Woodlands with our bespoke content management.

We also set up Twitter, Facebook and Google Maps accounts, and gave the team some tips on getting the most out of social media.

Our search engine optimisation included research to find the most popular search terms to target, and our work on the site improved positions for those target terms from about half not being listed on the first 10 pages of Google, to half now listed in the top 5, including number 1 for "vets Cheltenham".

What we did

  • Bespoke design
  • Marketing website
  • Dynamic blog
  • Events list
  • Twitter and Facebook
  • Content management
  • Search engine optimisation
The whole procedure was far less painful than we had anticipated!! We were given a clear timetable which went to plan and was kept updated throughout. The guys couldn't have been more helpful when we were constantly changing our minds about things and particularly when we were learning to manage the site ourselves! Thank you!
