Pay-Per-Click (PPC) Management

As with natural search engine listings, pay-per-click advertising puts you in front of your potential customer exactly when they're looking for you. It's a way to give your business a second presence on that search engine page, jump the queue for competitive terms, or promote a very new website. We're registered as a Google Engage Agency.

What is pay-per-click?

If you've ever used Google and seen the 'sponsored links' that appear in a right column and sometimes above the main listings, you've seen pay-per-click advertising at work. And as Google handles around 90% of global searches, we recommend their pay-per-click service, Adwords. Pay-per-click (or PPC) advertising provides more tangible results than any other marketing because you only pay when someone visits your website.

Better return on investment

While the costs for these visits can vary, you will almost certainly get more for your money than with traditional marketing. Where a £1000 advert in a magazine may (or may not) generate a few enquiries, £1000 spent on Google Adwords guarantees 1000 visitors to your website (assuming £1 per click). That's 1000 people who are not only interested in what you do, but actually visiting your website.

Keywords that deliver the right visitors

The downside of Google Adwords is that it's very easy to use, and very easy to spend lots of money with no real results. This is because it matters what keywords you search for, and how you write the adverts that people click on. If your keywords are too broad or your advert content too vague, you'll pay for lots of visitors that aren't actually interested in what you do. We can manage your Adwords campaign to make sure you get the most relevant visitors and the best possible results for your money.

Track and control your budget

We can also help you track the results of each individual keyword and advert, so you know what's working and what's not. This could be measured by enquiries, subscriptions to an email newsletter, online purchases, or any other web-based action. So you only pay for results, and you control how much you spend. The cost of these clicks can vary between a few pence and a few pounds, but we provide a test service to tell you how many visitors you are likely to get for your budget.

We can either set up Adwords for a one-off fee and let you manage it yourself, or provide ongoing management for 10% of your budget (minimum costs apply). Call us to find out more.
