Web design for St Peters Church « Back to Portfolio

New website with tailored design and content management

Canon Bernard Massey of St Peter's Catholic Church approached us to improve their current website, both for parishioners and potential visitors to this historic and beautiful church in the heart of Gloucester. The present parish is also home to the Polish Community and the Keralite Community from southern India.

The church wanted a striking but sympathetic new web design, and to allow members to update content themselves, particularly the activities and events.

We visited the church and put Canon Massey's photos at the heart of the design, wanting the site to complement but not overpower the character and architecture of the building itself. As with the majority of projects, our first design was accepted by the client and after some minor tweaks applied to a live website, along with a new logo for the church. Our finished site included content management and training.

Client testimonial

I would like to thank the staff at Bluelinemedia for your help and enthusiasm for the project of a new website for my Church. You took a good deal of time and trouble in getting to understand exactly what we wanted and how you could enable it. At every stage of the process you ensured that we were fully informed and involved in the design. The final product has been greeted with delight by the hundreds of members of our parish who are full of praise for the final design.
