New brand and marketing website for our booking software

GuestList is our first product venture, using our experience with booking software to provide a simple system for smaller hoteliers and B&B owners to manage bookings online. Like the service itself, we wanted our website to be simple but effective, giving visitors a sense of the GuestList experience as quickly as possible.

We used a strong design with big, clear screenshots to demonstrate the product, and made signing up as simple and quick as possible with a free 30-day trial.

Our brochure website with content management includes a blog which automatically updates an RSS feed and our Twitter account whenever a new item is added. We also integrated with Campaign Monitor for a branded HTML email, subscription management and online reports.

We had a basic website in place before we developed this new one, which meant we could really see the difference when we switched. From our point of view, the site did a better job of explaining what we were trying to do, and more importantly gave very clear visual images of GuestList itself. When we launched the website - and with no other marketing activity - our monthly sign-ups doubled.
